cinch League 1 and 2 clubs have today appointed Montrose director Peter Davidson as an SPFL Board director during the SPFL general meeting this afternoon.
Peter had fulfilled all the roles and functions of the League 1 and League 2 director since ex-Forfar Athletic director Alastair Donald announced his decision to step down from the SPFL Board earlier in January this year.
Peter has served on the SPFL Board as an alternate director since the start of this season and was formally elected as the Board’s cinch League 1 and League 2 representative following a club vote at the SPFL’s general meeting earlier today. He will perform the role until the end of season 2023/24.
The Spartans chairman Craig Graham was also voted in as the new alternate director for cinch League 1 and 2 until the end of the season.
Elections for the club-appointed positions on the SPFL Board for season 2024/25 will take place at the SPFL’s Annual General Meeting on 11 June 2024.
